To successfully complete your grades at Growing Roots Homeschooling are much less complicated.

How does our home education program work?

Growing Roots Homeschooling (Pty) Ltd. is a registered South African Homeschooling Service Provider - we are NOT affiliated with any other online home education or state-owned

schools.

We provide a CAPS based curriculum with subjects in Afrikaans and English for Grade R

to Grade 9 learners.

Our purpose is to provide quality books, information and conduct the assessments for the CAPS subjects to parents what wish to follow their own program, especially for children that cannot follow a set schooling routine/timetable.

When a learner enrols at Gowing Roots Homeschooling all the study material, writing books, documentation and information are provided for either one of the two semesters, or for the year that consists out of 4 x terms.

- The work in the Learner’s Books and Teacher's Guides are also divided into 4 x terms.

   The reason why we say it is much less complicated is that under normal circumstances the

   learner can complete the subjects for a specific term whereafter the work is immediately 

   formally assessed by us and a Progress Report for the specific term is issued. The specific 

   term is thereby fully completed and does not have to be revisited again.

   Each parent may follow their own program / roster depending on their specific circumstances.

- Again, although the subjects stay the same it means that the work for a specific term is done,

   and a learner can seamlessly continue with the following term.

- When the work of the four terms has successfully been completed and formally assessed

   by us, the results of the four terms will be reflected in the final Year-end Report.

   Subjects are divided between the two semesters if the semester option is preferred.

   Grade 1 - 3

   First semester -> 2 subjects / Second semester, the remaining two subjects.

   Grade 4 - 6

   First semester -> 3 subjects / Second semester, the remaining three subjects.

   Grade 7 - 9

   First semester -> 5 subjects / Second semester, the remaining four subjects.

    * Mathematics is always offered in the first semester.

    * Remember, an experienced teacher is at your disposal every day at no extra cost at all.

2 - Per Semester: A deposit for the Semester followed by 5 x monthly instalments.
