We provide you with the opportunity to empower your child academically in the safety of your home environment.

- Growing Roots Homeschooling (Pty) Ltd. is a registered South African Homeschooling Service Provider.
- We provide a CAPS based curriculum with subjects in English and Afrikaans, from Grade R to Grade 9.
- Our curriculum meets the requirements of the Education Department.
- There will be no need to roll-over the curriculum.
Our all-inclusive Study Bundle provides the academic information, study material with answers as well as assessments to enable you to achieve your goal successfully.
Grade R Study Bundle Includes:
- Registration and Administrative Fees:
All costs for the year are included in the bundle.
- Legal Compliance: We provide all the information and documentation you need to register with the Department of Education, as required by the BELA Act.
- Courier Services:
Yearly courier costs from Growing Roots Homeschooling to your address are fully included.
- Activity Books:
An activity book for each subject is provided—there is no extra cost to download or print any other material.
- Teacher’s Guidebook: Comprehensive guides for parents or tutors to lead the learning process.
- Daily Programme: A structured Grade R Daily Programme to guide your routine.
- Additional Content: Any further printed study material or information required for the curriculum.
- School Readiness Test: Our essential School Readiness Test is included to ensure your child is prepared.
- Formal Assessments: All assessments conducted by us are included in the package.
- Progress Reporting: After the successful completion of the School Readiness Test, your child’s very first Progress Report is provided.
- Expert Guidance: Included in your package is access to an experienced teacher who is at your disposal every day—just give us a call!

Cancellation Of Contract
Default By The Account Holder
When making payments please ensure that the correct banking details / account number as provided is used. The initials and surname of the Account Holder must be used as reference when making the first full payment or deposit as stated in the Registration Form/Contract. After a payment have been received, a student number will be allocated.
* Thereafter the student number must please be used when an EFT payment is made.
If the monthly payment option has been selected, the correct deposit amount reflected on the Growing Roots Registration Form and Contract Agreement must be paid. Please E-mail your Contract Agreement to us as conformation of your acceptance.
Receiving a payment and your Contract of Agreement, will serve as proof that you have agreed to the terms conditions as stated on the Growing Roots Registration form and the Contract Agreement, and that you agree with the quotation amount as well as the starting and final payment date as stipulated.
Payments are made in advance, and billing is done on the 25th of the month for the following month.
Standard VAT regulations apply. Our fees are inclusive of VAT.
The Study Bundle cost as reflected on the Registration Form reflects the costs involved with current subjects as selected. Courier costs from us to you are included in the Study Bundle price. The cost of extra subjects is not included and will be separately invoiced.

Section 3: The Parent / Legal Guardian is responsible to ensure that a Learner attends school when the appropriate age is reached.
Section 51: When school-going age is reached, the Parent / Legal Guardian must apply at the Department of Education to register the Learner for home education when a public or private school is not going to be attended.
SA Schools Act 84/1996 & BELA Act
Growing Roots Homeschooling transactions are compelled to adhere to the regulations of the Electronics and Transaction Act, no 25 of 2002.
We are therefore guided by to comply with the guidelines as determined by the Act. and not be registered anymore.
With reference to the BELA Bill, we have to caution parents that it is now an infringement if a child is not receiving formal education.
CANCELLATION PROCEDURE:
The Account Holder must please send an E-mail to info@growingroots.co.za in order to inform us why you would like to cancel.
A Cancellation Form will then be sent to you via E-mail that must be completed and returned as soon as possible.
The cancellation fee is payable before or on month end.
COMPULSARY CANCELLATION FEES:
- If the Study Bundle has not been dispatched or delivered yet, a client may request to cancel the contract within two days after the payment date. A 30% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- When the Study Bundle have been dispatched and delivered, the client may request to cancel the contract within two days after receiving the Study Bundle - A 40% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- When the Study Bundle have not been used and is undamaged, the Account Holder may request to return the Study Bundle.
- A cancellation fee will be determined when the Study Bundle have been inspected by us. - A minimum of 10% cancellation fee will be applicable.
- Any address given by the Account Holder will forthwith be the Account Holders address of choice for receiving all legal documents.
Cancellation Of Contract
The Account Holder is responsible for and hereby undertake to pay all expenses which may incur out of His/her default including all legal costs as between attorneys and client, collection commission and interest.
No variation of any terms of this Agreement shall be any force or effect unless contained in writing and signed by a representative of Growing Roots Homeschooling (Pty) Ltd.
Default By The Account Holder
The Growing Roots team has been involved in homeschooling since 2000. Experience has taught us to provide a comprehensive product where everything is included, backed by prompt, reliable service.
We also provide all necessary administrative and account information.
Couriers have been contracted to ensure your Study Bundle package is delivered timeously.
