REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

To complete registration is quick and easy.

When your Online Registration Application Form have been submitted, you will receive the registration procedure information via E-mail on the same day.


A word of caution – Subject to the Schools Act 84 of 1996, the Bela Act of 2024 or any applicable provincial act, parents are held responsible to enable the learner to attend school on the first day of the year when the learner becomes six years of age and up to the last day of school during the relevant year once the learner reaches the age of fifteen or completes grade 9 (whichever comes first)


We kindly ask that registration forms be submitted with the genuine intention of enrolling your child. This helps us maintain accurate records and uphold the integrity of our process.


Please note that any registrations found not to reflect a true intention to enrol, may need to be reported to the Department of Education as we are committed to ensuring that all applications are handled honestly and in line with regulatory requirements.

We provide you with the opportunity to empower your child academically in the safety of your home environment.


You can ensure that your child receives all the personal attention and love that only a parent can provide!


  • Growing Roots Homeschooling (Pty) Ltd. is a registered South African Homeschooling Service Provider.
  • We provide a CAPS based curriculum with subjects in English and Afrikaans, from Grade R to Grade 9.
  • Our curriculum meets the requirements of the Education Department.
  • There will be no need to roll-over the curriculum.


Our all-inclusive Study Bundle provides the academic information, study material with answers as well as assessments to enable you to achieve your goal successfully.

Grade 7 - 9 Study Bundle Includes:

  • Learner's Books: Provided for each subject. There are no extra costs to download or print additional material.
  • Teacher's Guidebooks: A guide for each subject is included, along with a Worksheet Book or CD.
  • Stationery: A 96-page lined exercise book is provided for every subject.
  • Additional Resources: Any further printed study materials or essential information required for the curriculum.
  • Integrated Testing: Tests, worksheets, and assessments are already compiled within the books.
  • Assessment Tools: Growing Roots Assessment Forms are provided.
  • Formal Evaluations: Assessments conducted by us are included for each term.
  • Academic Reports: You will receive a Progress Report for each term, followed by a final Year-end Report.
  • Registration and Admin: All registration and administrative costs for the year are included.
  • Legal Documentation: We provide all the information and documentation required for you to register with the Department of Education, as per the BELA Act.
  • Courier Services: Yearly courier costs from Growing Roots Homeschooling to your address are fully included.
  • Expert Guidance: Included in your package is access to an experienced teacher who is at your disposal every day—just give us a call!
  • Registration and Administrative costs for the year are included

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

When making payments please ensure that the correct banking details and account number as provided is used. The initials and surname of the Account Holder must be used as reference when making the first full payment or deposit as stated in the website registration page and the Registration Form. After a payment have been received, a student number will be allocated.


If the monthly payment option has been selected, please ensure to pay the correct deposit amount as stated on the Growing Roots Registration Form.


Receiving your deposit or one-off payment will serve as proof that you have agreed to the terms conditions as stated on the Growing Roots Registration form, the Proforma Invoice and the Account Holder Agreement. You also agree with the quotation amount as well as the starting and final payment date as stipulated.


Standard VAT regulations apply. Our fees are inclusive of VAT.


The Study Bundle cost as reflected on the Registration Form reflects the costs involved with current subjects as selected. Courier costs from us to you are included in the Study Bundle price. The cost of extra subjects is not included and will be separately invoiced.
